Parking is only one of the costs added to a Vegas stay. Check your hotel’s resort fee and check-in hold too.
Las Vegas hotel parking FAQ
- Do Las Vegas hotels charge for parking?
- Most large Strip resorts charge for both self-parking and valet, and rates often differ for registered hotel guests versus visitors. A smaller number of properties still include self-parking at no charge.
- Is self-parking cheaper than valet in Las Vegas?
- Almost always. Valet is typically the more expensive option at properties that offer both, and valet usually excludes gratuity.
- Do hotel guests pay less for parking than visitors?
- Frequently, yes. Several resorts publish a lower daily rate for registered hotel guests and charge visitors an hourly or higher daily rate.
- Can Las Vegas hotel parking be free?
- Sometimes. Nevada residents, loyalty program tiers and short grace periods can make parking free or discounted at specific properties. VegasCost lists those exceptions when the hotel publishes them.
- Do parking rates change during big events?
- Yes. Many resorts use higher special-event parking pricing during major events and holidays. VegasCost shows standard published rates and does not estimate event pricing.
- Is parking included in the resort fee?
- Generally no. Parking is charged separately from the nightly resort fee at most Las Vegas hotels, so budget for both.
